This is one of the major challenges I faced as well. Lack of Consistency could be due to a few reasons:
All of the following leads to the inconsistency in blogging, getting the ebooks out, working on traffic generation methods, collecting of list, learning a new technical skill, attending a network event.
As a newbie, when we did not see things moving in the direction or moving at the rate as painted by the many masters, we kind of lost the interest and purpose in pursing Internet Marketing and simply put it aside and labelled it as “This is simply not for me“
How Can We Overcome The Lack of Consistency?
I regular log into Warrior Forum (Warning: you might get addicted to this forum as there are tons and tons of people advice - some genuine and really helpful :-) )and visit the success section where folks in Internet Marketing talk about their successes and many different experiences. The forum where I get a more realistic view of Internet Marketing. Btw, it’s a GEM forum.
I kept a stricter discipline in getting things done and stick to the schedule very firmly. Committment is the word.
For example, to get your first Adsense cheque, you will need to accumulate till $100 worth of clicks before Google sends you the cheque. Many forget that $100 begins with merely a few cents clicks and it takes time. The more actions you take, the more feedback you gather. This will definitely propel you nearer and nearer to getting your AdSense cheque, isn’t it?
This is what I taught a few friends (totally unware of the concept of Internet Marketing) on testing out if they have what it takes to be really serious in providing value to their readers and at the same time, earns from AdSense by sharing any of their experiences with the world.
One last thing I wish to highlight is that Internet Marketing does take time to bloosm. For some people, it is faster; for others, it is slower. It all depends on the amount of actions taken and how fast your improve on your implementions. We grow wiser and stronger with each learning experience, don’t we?
At this moment, Internet Marketing does not make me millionaire overnight (at least not for now) but that can certainly happen if anyone desperately wants it real badly.
Having said all these, I still strongly believe that all actions will pay off in some way as long as your intention is right.
