  • I am someone who’s “rebellious“, I will go all way out to get the things I really want. Be it a piece of clothing, a book, a piece of A-grade tutorial so that I can model and submit. LOL. Some people coined this as silly lah, stubborn lah, insensible lah. But the bottom line is that I get my things in a legal and harmless manner, maybe a lil harmful to my bank account at times. :)
  • I totally love freedom! It was the best gift given to me ever since I was young. My mum was a seamstress then, she was so busy with completing their sewing projects that she had hardly any time to disclipine me and my sis. So being sensible kids ourselves, we set our own rules! haha. Simply love it man! Though I was like a queen in the house, some of my rules aren’t that well accepted by my parents that I got some real punishment for insisting to be the queen. I paid the price painfully. sob sob, ouch ouch. Childhood experience moulds me to be real independent even till now. I still enjoy the freedom till now! I guess I deserve this gift since I’ve been such good girl all long :) Travelling is often a hobby that free people enjoy! I’m one of them.
  • My inner happiness comes from people around me! I love my family and my friends. I need homo sapiens around me, no matter if we can click or explode. Haha. My life is revolved around people! I must empasize to me, aL aka always Lovely, moo-lah is secondary! I love giving treats to my loved ones, not to show off how much moo-lah I have but more of sharing what I have. My closest ones are complaining that I ought to be finacinally-sensible, well, I think otherwise at times, only at times. My loved ones, I really am grateful for everyone of us who has left  a footprint in my world. The size and depth of the footprint aren’t important to me. It’s the effort in leaving that I’m real appreciative of.
  • I love to coach and mentor! Well, it’s all about sharing what I know to help people to move forward. It’s such priviledge to be able to do that! I share with my uni friends when I get hold on a A-grade assignment (with permission from the creator that’s it) so that everyone doesn’t have to sweat too much! LOL. I get so excited to share all kinds of great “lobangs” (deals) that I will mass-mail or mass-sms to all my loved ones! Haha. I don’t care if they appreciate anot as I know I have my faithful special ones who will say “yes” when the whole world says “no”. I JUST realize that the calling is in fact in sharing all I know with anyone out there who needs my knowledge to move on. I went USA-Summer Camp 2004 to teach kids on environmental education. Princeton Blairstown Centre. I started my first job at Norman Tien Mathematics and progressed to a MASTER TRAINER within 1.5 years. Haha. It was good times there, I think I was also master marketer, IT  master, master email - phone communicator and lame jokes master. I’m so proud of myself! Now, I’m embarking on this journey to reach out my hands to the global world, it’s such meaningful journey with you all around me, providing me with feedback, bringing me back to ground. Love it! I’m your star-thrower!
  • I realize that I started to dream ever since 2004. I dreamt about being interviewed of my success! I dreamt about owning a BMW where my loved ones can understand how powerful driving skills I have that allow me to pass on the first attempt without having to wear mini-skirts or put on heavy face powder! haha. I dreamt about travelling the world with my loved ones in my bagpack, leaving my prints all over! Some dreams have been realized a tiny bit and these kept me running forward! Oh did I say, I run also. Yeah, I do running! I dreamt of being on the stage for WIS 2008 as someone who shares my success story with the world!

” I hope the love we share can resonate around the world so that some day, I can hear its echo”

The Starfish Story

adapted from The Star Thrower
by Loren Eiseley
1907 - 1977

Once upon a time, there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work.

One day, as he was walking along the shore, he looked down the beach and saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself at the thought of someone who would dance to the day, and so, he walked faster to catch up.

As he got closer, he noticed that the figure was that of a young man, and that what he was doing was not dancing at all. The young man was reaching down to the shore, picking up small objects, and throwing them into the ocean.

He came closer still and called out “Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?”

The young man paused, looked up, and replied “Throwing starfish into the ocean.”

“I must ask, then, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?” asked the somewhat startled wise man.

To this, the young man replied, “The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them in, they’ll die.”

Upon hearing this, the wise man commented, “But, young man, do you not realize that there are miles and miles of beach and there are starfish all along every mile? You can’t possibly make a difference!”

At this, the young man bent down, picked up yet another starfish, and threw it into the ocean. As it met the water, he said, “I made a difference to that one!”
