 As you can see, I was not acitvely blogging for a couple of months.

I do not know why but just now I suddenly feel like checking my emails, in case someone contacted me for “lobangs” ( i.e Good Deals) or perhaps Clickbank informing me that I referred a sales or something that brings in $.

I was shocked. TOTALLY

To have so many emails in my mailbox. 520 emails! I usually check my active email accounts about 2-3 times per day. But this particular email account was something I did not check for a few months as I recently shfited my desktop to my laptop. So I was too lazy to configure in my outlook. Nevertheless, none of those 520 emails prove to be what I wish for … instead as you would have guessed “OEM software, Enlargement of …., Size, Boost your performance…”

Simply so overwhelming that I have to seek out my all time favourite for help - my hosting company - HostGator.

Simply awesome! I always like to bug them since I am not IT Geek. Very helpful guys there.

 

Anyway, I learn that it is something you can do it as well simply by following these steps:

  1. Log into your cpanel >> www.domainname.com/cpanel
  2. Click on Mail > SpamAssassin > Enable SpamAssassin
  3. Click on Configure SpamAssassin
  4. Set Required Score to 5

If you do not know what I am talking about, contact your hosting company. They would definitely be able to help you out.

Now I can have a good sleep without having to worrying the number of SPAMs flooding into my mailbox.

Btw, if you see people leaving their email in this odd manner, it is to keep off spamers, my guess.
